I see the woman as the villain. He chases after her for years but she just leads him on. Finally she falls for him too, but by now he's tired of the game. Although he still loves her, he realizes that it's not meant to be. It pains him to do it, but he walks away. By the time she realizes she loves him, it's too late.

My interpretation of this wonderful piece of art is just Love in general, the way the girl seduces the man and how the man is trying to get the girl, in the end somtimes that love goes away..such as the ending of the video. Sad story of reality.

Most likely, this is about "the ritual of love" between a male and a female - She is elusive to begin with, and he wants to capture her, to make her his own. In the end, after a long and beautiful dance, he manages to enthrall her, to make her stay. But then he gets bored and moves on to the other challenge. A very common story.
