@albertotor1 save yourself the headache. anyone who thinks they can rebuild any injection pump at home (besides the DPA's) and expect it to perform correctly on the engine is asking for trouble

@emmy6423 The fuel solinoid driver is probably bad. Go to ssdieselsupplyDotCom for a heat sink set up. I put one on my truck and it works great.

I would like to purchase this dvd but cant find it on ebay

@emmy6423 May be a bad fuel cutoff solenoid? Air in the fuel or return lines?

Would this video cover the IP for a 98 VW New Beetle TDI?

Does the mechanical Diesel pump skip a cycle to not feed fuel while the exhaust stroke is happening.
It seams the engine crank turns trice for the intake and exhaust stroke, but the pump cycle is one stroke pushing fuel on both cycles...
My mercedes is shooting out black smoke and won't hold an idle. I am trying to figure this out. THanks.

I have a Tafe 35 DI tractor. The injector pump is a bosch mico pump. Are these instructions for that unit?

@archlrk2009 I picked mine on Ebay for under 20 bucks. The new kits come with the rubber that can handle biodiesel and whatnot. My pumps started leaking from just plain old dried up rubber, so I can only imagine the pain with biodiesel.

Is there a "best" gasket set for the VE that will handle the UL Sulphur and Bio_diesel??? And how to order via YouTube??? Thanks for your help!

To my knowledge, all new gasket kits (made within at least the last 5 years or so) will be up to the task. You might want to check with a professional rebuilder to be sure. I'm not aware of anyone on You Tube that sells them, but there are several sellers on eBay. A search will turn them up.

I bought your video and it was done very professionally and was a great help. I have a pump that gets stuck on high rpm''s even after the gasket kit was installed. Did I do something wrong or is something just sticking that I can go back in and fix? Thanks for your help.

Did your pump have this problem before you resealed it? It's possible that there might be some residue or varnish causing parts to stick or not slide properly. If the problem is new, then you might have put the spill ring in backwards, or some part of the governor assembly has not been installed correctly.
