This is a review of the 1983 series of G.I. Joe toys in my collection. This part shows the smaller vehicles and accessories: Wolverine, HISS, FANG, Whirlwind Twin Battle gun, Skimobile Polar Battle Bear, SNAKE, Battle Gear, Pocket Patrol Pack, PAC/RATs (missile launcher, machine gun and flamethrower), APC and the JUMP with Grand Slam.

  • nice! you didnt really take them out did you?

  • @pumpkinking99 I bought most of these already assembled with an empty box. Only a few vehicles are still untouched, and I have loose doubles of those.

  • Restricting your collection to 82-85 might keep it small and manageable, but it's kind of a shame that you can't therefore have the Mobile Command Center or Defiant space shuttle - both of which I kind of wanted more than the Flagg back in the day.

  • @davenielsen78 I'm thinking about expanding my collection to include 1986 and 1987... but it will take a long time to build up the money for something as expensive as the Defiant. If I were to get the MCC, I would buy the 2003 version.

  • @formbx257 It would definitely cost a lot, which is what is so daunting for people just starting out. I never kept any of my old Joes I had when I was a kid (I never had very many anyway), and the idea of just starting out now and the cost of it... Is the 2003 MCC the same as the original, or improved in any way? I never had it either, but a friend of mine did.

  • @davenielsen78 The 2003 MCC was a Toys R Us exclusive, the colors were darker or different and came with a different driver figure. I'm just assuming that modern plastic would be less fragile than the older one.

  • You have a excellent channel and excellent videos.

  • Nice collection!!!! I remember getting the Cobra HISS for Christmas in 1983. I was so dissapointed. It was always displayed much more impressivley in the Comic Books and later Cartoon as being much larger and more formidable. The toy version of the Hiss that came out in 1983 as well as other Cobra Command Vehilcles was so small and cheap compared to the GI Joe Vehicles. Thats why I loved the Cobra Rattler when it came out. Rattler was a Cobra toy that rivled anything GI Joe had at that time.

  • awesome reviews! The boxes for the pack rats are huge when you compare them to how small the toys actually are. I got mine from Hasbro Canada mail order around 1994 was so dissapointed when I got them. Mainly because I had ordered an APC not the pack rats!!

  • nice place
