In 1965 I was a soldier in the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps based at Camp Borden in Ontario, Canada. Being a bango player, and song writer, the guys got a great kick out of hearing me poke fun at the military life. 40 years later I found George Formby on YouTube doing the same thing. What an experience!
