For those who are fans of "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" (Harrison Ford), I've created a trailer recut, having Indiana (Ford) setting out on a journey to find sacred stones which ultimately cause him to turn evil.

I've also created an alternate ending to the title screen which you'll find in "Video Responses." It's the same trailer with a different cut to "Coming Soon" at the end. Enjoy both!

  • how do you do this?

  • With Windows Movie Maker.

...and a sick, sick mind on the side.

  • oh ok, but how did you get the movie clips on it? did you have to download the movie or something?

  • I had to copy the movie to the computer from the DVD and watch it all the way through, catching bits and pieces of clips, sound bites, and dialogue I deemed worthy of being used. Took about a month and a half to do.

  • @HarrisonOdell can you elaborate on how excatly you go about coping the movie to the computer. I'm trying to do something similar and I can't find out what to do with the dvd once I have the software.

  • @JPJones032 -- There's a program called "InterVideo DVD Copy"; I personally used version 4. You pop the DVD in, open up the program, and all the DVD's attributes (scenes, menus, etc.) will be listed. You can figure out the rest (pretty easy).

If the DVD can't be read it's probably copy-protected, so you'll have to use a program like DVDFab to remove the protection. DVDFab can also copy movies to the computer, so if you like killing two birds with one stone, that's the way to go. :-)

  • WOW, this looks more the trailer that would promote the film had it been released now, before KOTCS that is. WELL DONE, GREAT JOB!!!!!

  • You made the movie more serious and facinating...like a thriller. Good job!
