@Str8UPdork - I know, right? I guess the latter. I'm surprised I didn't notice it at first; I just wanted to finish the stupid blanket.
-
@PlatniumRain17 - I'm so sorry for your fainting spell, but when I read it last night, I laughed so hard I choked on a pillow feather.
-
@AFateSoTwisted - Lye is so vulgar and vicious... like a teenage girl who's been broken up with via text message.

I burned my finger making soap. Then when I was sewing, I decided to pop the burn. I didn't feel a thing. Juices came out though haha. Oh BTW epic fail on me trying to make soap, because I stood there with soap burning my finger cuz' I was shanking it tryin' to get the soap of when a sink was about a foot and a half away. LOL

@Ihartshanedawson56 - `That's why I can't imagine making soaps... I'm horribly accident prone. But you must be a trooper, I congratulate your bravery both during and after, lol.

I did something similar to that. I just sewed through the tip my finger though, not the nail. I too finished my project before getting a bandage too! lol

Oh yuck! I would have cried if I had to push part of a broken needle through my finger.
When I was younger (maybe 10 or so) I wasn't paying attention and stepped on my mom's pin cushion. One of the hand sewing needles (with thread on in) went threaded side first into my big toe! The white thread turned red from the blood. I had to hobble into the kitchen where my mom was tell her to get the pliers to pull the needle out. I couldn't be near pin cushions for a few years without my toe hearing.

@aglanceatmyworld - DUDE! Super nast. Great story, though. I didn't step into my sister's room for months after repeated straight-pin-to-foot discussions. I know the dread.
