This is the behavior of an 11 transistor analog robot with light and touch sensors. What you're seeing is the interaction of 2 coupled chaotic sine oscillators used as a central pattern generator.

  • So much research goes into digital robots with microprocessors and such, but in order to imitate living things, I really think analog is the way to go.
