Interesting. What about Steve Jobs explanation for the iphone reception problems. "Stop holding it the wrong way" Seriously? That is like Bill Gates telling all Windows user not to never hit the enter key or their system will reboot. Apple is no different from Microsoft in that they rushed a product onto the market without proper testing.

I thought the Seinfeld ad was pretty funny, just in it's quirkyness. While you are completely entitled to your opinion on the "get a mac" campaign, I am not a fan, as I beleive it simply exemplifies the smugness behind the Apple brand. On that note, I am also not a fan of the other new ms ad that talks about overpriced Apple products, as that seems a bit smug as well.

Microsoft's gaming console sucks...it's a piece of shit that crashes constantly and breaks non-stop. I prefer windows for my computer but PS3 and Wii for gaming. I had four 360s and every single one broke within a year, so I threw my last one out and got a PS3.

I mean weird AD for mac too. It doesn't let you insert CD's, but look! It fits in a envolope!!!! Or you can get your Cd holder... Thats.. err... I good AD too...

I think its just a shot at humour, and i thought it was quite funny. Odditites stick in peoples minds, so it helps people remember the product . Also, what with the Mac adverts essentially bashing Windows, I think this advert shows that Microsoft really isn't worried about competition, all computers are designed for different things, and if a Mac just happens to fit your lifestyle, Microsoft aren't going to try and change your mind by telling you that they're better.

MS is exactly like that ad... it has no theme, no concept design.. just random events... pretty much like his OS or software.
They are just tasteless and don't bring much culture in their products in steve's words.

Beauty is in simplicity. I've never seen a beautiful PC in my life. My brothers HP was pretty nice when he first got it, then I was like, "To many buttons." Mac is a minimalist's style.
People who fight over the computers os are just wasting there time. OS X is right for me. Windows is right for you. Neither one of us is more right by using one over the other.
