The internet in Japan high speed connection

A quick overview of high speed internet an equipment. Its pretty good for DSL type service and this is not a brag video! Its just some facts about the subject if you are curious about the services here in Japan. Take it for what it is. Some are faster and some are slower. The service is solid and I have not experienced any problems along the lines of throttling or rush hour traffic. I am not an expert on computers but I know my way around as a modern user.

Bits or bytes I use the term loosley... you know what I mean? I should have said Bytes to be specific regarding network speed. My bad! Thanks for reminding me many times! Also... this is not the fastest connection in the world yes its average in some places. Thanks for telling me that many times!

I've seen download speeds up to 12 MB/s and my upload is about 6 MB/s and it costs me 16,13USD(Converted into USD using an online converter). That's about average. I have no idea how fast the internet connections above 50 USD are, but i can imagine A LOT. Now i am a little confused. Can you please tell me the speeds in Japan again.
