Rather fine to find a song that indirectly references the late, great Les Kellet's later years as the owner of a greasy spoon in West Yorkshire.

It's hard to tell if Luke Haines is a complete farcical lunatic, or a musical genius.
After listening to this album 3 times through, I love the first 4 tracks, it tails off a bit though.
But I will never tire of such amazing songs like "get wrecked at home" or "discomainia" or anything Black Box Recorder did.
Love him or hate him, Luke Haines is a great British institution. And a damn fine song writer (even if he is certifiable).

Have to agree with tummybugs (below) that Luke's trajectory is still on the up and up. A Luke Haines album about 70s Wrestling is as good as I can possibly imagine. I was glued to World Of Sport at 4 pm in the late 70s. Who can forget Kendo's Kamikaze Roll?

@thetummybugs Woah, woah, woah, a collaboration with Robert Forster? I don't think I can cope with that. Haines is getting better with every album, his genius is growing. x
