Well done. There is more than one way to skin a cat. In this situation, this knot is very effective, doesn't come undone, and is easy to break down or untie, it's 100% safe and secure and you can tie this knot in large diameter rope. It's not the way I tie it, but your way is faster and gives at least as good a result. I wouldn't change anything. Thanks for sharing.

This sucks. We can't even understand what you're doing. Is the point to teach and instruct, or is the point to demonstrate that you know how to do it. All you did was prove that this man in the video can do it. We don't need it to be proved and demonstrated, we need to know how it's done. At least a step by step for crying out loud, and take of the gloves so we can see clearly.

Normally, I wouldn't respond to these type of comments. All I can say is: watch closer. I'm not the one doing it. I was fortunate enough to find a trucker who was in a hurry to go home take the time to do this. I had him do it twice in hopes that he would slow down. Had I known how to do it, I would have done it myself in slow motion. There are other videos and Google ~ ya know? You must be old to still use the term "for crying out loud" ~ well, you just cried into your keyboard instead.

That was a little joke about "PPE" in the background, but this was a demo from a long-time vet who took the time to do this for you all before he went home for the day. Very ingenious. He learned that foot technique from EXPERIENCE, which is the most valuable ingredient to being a great truckdriver.

Believe me buddy, the straps work themselves loose over time, also many customers require the ropes on top of the straps. You know how they are. They want it yesterday, and they want it in perfect shape.
