@1stPlaceDirector doesn't have to be telephoto. you can also use a reversing ring
-
@monki600 they only introduced video on DSLRs last year or so.. the D50 came out about 5 years ago

HOT WHEEEEEELS
-
lol. you said one "jig".
-
Correct. However they can be difficult to use at times since the focal plane has been so dramatically enlarged. Focusing can be an issue.
-
hey dude.., is it possible to use the D50 to film little snipits?
-
I have heard that you can use a telephoto lens with an extender tube to do the same thing without buying another lens.

I've got a Nikon D50 too. But at the moment I only have the standard lense, although mid September I am looking to get a telephoto, around 70-300mm I think. I would like to get a macro lense but I just don't have the money. And I can't imagine carrying around three lenses. For now though my standard 18-55 lense takes decent macro shots for my standards.

Yea the macro lens is something i need due to the small objects i shoot so much but for every day use its not needed, heres a link to some airshow pics i did wit hthe bigger lens, im not a pro just a hack but the cam seems to work great for me.
