This provocative and exceptionally beautiful film explores present day believers in faery all over the world, and features a rare inverview with Brian Froud in his UK home. Brian feels that THE FAIRY FAITH is the best film he has yet seen on the subject of faeries and their existence here and now.

"Fairy lore has been with us for thousands of years: The Greek fawns and satyrs, the Roman furies, the Genies, the Celtic Shie and the English pixies and elves. But the notion that they might still be with us had not occurred to me for a long time."~ filmmaker John Walker

  • Wow, this has been going around for a long time! I'm happy to have found it!

  • Faeries are utterly real and beautiful

  • @twe123456 which book has his best art, I am trying to get a book for my fairy-obsessed girlfriend, and I want to pick the best one. Which do you recommend?

  • @christuimbirek - Absolutely. I think it's more ludicrous to believe in "invisible beings" (like gods/angels/devils) but dismiss other people's belief in the folklore spirits of nature and life as "silly." Lol

  • I have been obsessed with faeries since the age of 4 because of this wonderful man. I'm at university now and whenever someone asks me who my favourite artists are, I reel off a list of Pre-Raphaelite and Romantic painters, but Brian Froud always comes first.

  • fairy are no moor upseard then the spirits of the aboriginal americans

  • I believe in fairies as much as I believ in God. I don't question either.

  • i love you Brian Froud! you are a true inspiration.

  • I've been able to see faerys and faery lights ever since I can remember, they're everywhere. When I was little I used to call them "fuzzies."

Mr. Froud is my idol; since reading his books for the first time (when I was about ten), I no longer feel the need to question my own sanity. I highly recommend "The Fairy Faith" Btw.

  • Faeries!! ~they are all around us, forever~ Amen..
