For those that don't think so, trust me , this guy knows how to drive. I love that car , it looks stunning and saw one over in the states not so long ago. He's right though, The Chassis just can't handle the power to put it down. Its about chassis dynamics. A 911 carrera with half the power out on the roads would probaby take it. Great looking and sounding machine though. What a noise.

@cman122333 There is nothing simple about any BMW, unless you are talking about how bland the interior is, & how little you get for your money. As far as the solid rear axle, it works fine, & with it, the car pulls a positive g, so I don't know what you are talking about "only in a straight line". If I wanted a p shooter, I would get focus. Just so you know, the standard mustang v8 runs right next to the hailed m3. Not bad for a car that can only go in a straight line, huh?

In the UK, where I'm guessing you're from, the Mustang would be an absolute monstrosity, but in NAmerica, it works fairly well for our straight roads. And yes I'd rather have the Mustang than the 1M. For the price of the 1M I'd get the most mint M3 CSL i could find instead. Another thing that pi55es me off re: 1M is not just the non-bespoke engine, but the SOUND. ALL M cars since the M1, til even the new M5 have had great sounding engines, but the 1M just...doesn't

No. Jesus the yanks have been making boggo crate engines and dropping it in anything and everything so surely this wouldn't be such a problem! Based on a girls car?
