  • Talk about a bunch of freakin long comments.

  • @TheAlexagius

True. Don't forget Gypsies. Fact remains that MOST Germans benefited from the 1938 act while those that didnt were no worse off than they had been under the 1919 Gun Confiscation protocol. Thats only talking about guns mind you.

  • @TheAlexagius

No one is disputing the Nazi gun laws were preferential to "Aryan" Germans but I tire of hearing how Hitler took guns away from the German people. Its simply not true. Love him or hate him the guy did greatly expand gun ownership to most German citizens.

  • @mikeandnatasha but it wasn't just jews though slavs comunists capitalists liberals libertarians ect

  • @TheAlexagius

That wasnt too sneaky. By 1938 there was no question of the roles of Jews in Jewish society. By the time Kristallnacht rolled around in late '38 it was quite clear that Jews were not welcome in Germany.

  • @mikeandnatasha people able to bear arms(or would have benifited from the new guns laws) would be those who supported hilter so would not revolt against him, personally i think the right to bear arms is universal to any mentally sane adult

  • @mikeandnatasha before i say anything youtube gave me the wrong reply from you lol @TheAlexagius

Minimags are subsonic in just about anything with a barrel less than 5 inches long. ?!. Hitler did something very sneaky though, citizens could have guns but many people were no longer citizens like the jews, "Firearms and ammunition found in a Jew's possession will be forfeited to the government without compensation. " part of an act against jews owning weapons, comunsits capitalists, so the only

  • You're repeating revisionist history. You need to check your facts. The 1938 German Weapons Act was a major expansion FOR the people of the 1928 act that somewhat liberalized firearms ownership and distribution in Germany. Keep in mind that most ALL privately owned weapons were banned for civilian ownership under the post war Treaty of Versailles. The 1938 Act completely deregulated rifles and shotguns. The US Gun Control Act of 1968 was drafted in large part modeled on the 1938 German law.

  • @mikeandnatasha hitler did disarm the german people it was one of his first acts as he know that people would oppose him and take uparms, and obviusoly the jews were basicly dead with or without thier guns but some jews did form partisan groups mid way through the war

  • @TheAlexagius

The Nazis didn't disarm the German people. If anything when the Nazi tore up the Treaty of Versailles they significantly expanded civilian gun ownership versus what was available under the Weimar Government. Of course that didnt apply to the Jews.
