He abiously did not see the accual crash. He was talking about coverage of it. A lot of people said that they saw the first plane crash when they were refering to the coverage of it.

He just made a mistake, what he meant was that he saw the TV coverage of the burning fire and smoke and had heard that a plane had hit the tower. That's what he meant. We all know he's not the most intelligent person in the world now, lets be easy on him, lol.
