The students were using Adobe Ideas and neu. Annotate to open and write on PDF files. They were using iPad's Mail program and a class e-mail account to mail completed documents as attachments to the teacher. (PDFs are stored in iBooks.)

This is wonderful! How did you get the Everyday Math Boxes on the iPads? Did you sync them one PDF at a time? How did you sync them at all?

@jenniemisong The publisher provides the PDF files. Larry emails them to the students and the students install them in iBooks. He says that he rarely syncs the iPads to his computer. Most apps are installed by the students themselves.
