@Recoverywest It's a really bad idea. There have been people that have tried this and ended up with the worms eating holes in their intestines and then need their colon removed because of it. Perhaps in the future they will find a way to introduce some beneficial parasites into the colon that will cure UC.

this has qalso been discovered in australia

Now this is interesting......WOW

@Tantoin That's funny you named lemon, garlic, broccoli and ginger because I eat all those nearly everyday because my body craves it. They have great anti-inflammatory properties.

@crystal19903 You are absolutely right, I will never trust my life in the hands of the high priests of the medical cult again. Never doubt the truth you have found out on your own through common sense observation, I also got it on a trip to Mexico most likely from dairy, water or food that was contaminated with some parasites. That was 2.5 years ago as well. Only thing that helped to heal me was no dairy scd foods but mostly lots of fresh lemon, fresh garlic, fresh ginger, broccoli

@Tantoin Also, you are right that UC is caused by parasites. Years back I had a flu and took Amoxicillin which gave me Clostridium Difficile which led to my Ulcerative Colitis. Of course the docs said that my UC was genetic but Funk that! Isn't it obvious how I got it? By taking a drug (Amoxicillin)) which messed up my gut flora which led to an overgrowth of bacteria and toxins.

@Tantoin Amen! I totally agree with your comment. I have had UC for 2 1/2 years, I even had to get three blood transfusions during my pregnancy because of it. But you know how I cure my UC? I eat VEGAN and now I haven't flared in 1 year and 1 month. I use food as medicine and prefer to do it that way. I don't want to support the Pharma Industry. My doctor wanted me to take Asacol which was 500$ a month! And know what...it didn't even work and had TONS of side affects.

Great.. so how can this help anyone? Another 3 minutes lost forever.

@endthedisease it hasn't been proven, actually.
only 20% of patients diagnosed with Crohn's Disease or Ulcerative Colitis have a known family history of Inflammatory Bowel disease.

"I have my own pet parasite I like to feed and name her, her milk is my shit , my shit is her milk" DuLL Steak... Test MeaT....
This is doubtful since it's been proven that this is a genetic disease.

@endthedisease - Thanks for the comment, but don't be too quick to dismiss parasites as a treatment option. See InsidersHealthTV channel's comments for a link to an interesting article on a University of Iowa study where patients with UC or Crohn's were intentionally infected with parasite eggs with positive results. Apparently, the parasites suppress the immune system which helps the condition.
