@DCProductions2 yeah it went great. 63 days till summer band camp tho... ugh. can't wait that long! i don't really know exactly who this is, so i can't exactly tell everyone you said hey. haha. but if you get around to making anything new, i have the sheet music for winds of sonora, but i can only find vids of other bands playing it. so if you get around to it, that would be a good thing for everyone to listen to (if they find it)

@NitrosNightingale If that's a high tuba part, I have an extremely high range. lol It's not that uncommon to play a Db
-
the Eb not consistently no but a Db yes it doesnt sound amazing or anything but in the staff is something any tuba should be able to play.
-
so u can play a triple high Eb on a tuba?...
-
ya good point... and to stalinmarxmarx im just used to seein really low tuba parts
-
No it's not, what are you in, 7th grade?

@skadooshd Yup! I hope that Mini-Camp is going well. Tell Ms. Ryan and everyone that I said Hi. I haven't arranged anything in a while because I got a new hard drive and temporarily lost my notation software, but as a Monacan student you have priority for any requests!

holy Sh*t thats a high tuba part.... is it suppost to be an octave lower?
NitrosNightingale 2 years ago
It can be played an octave lower, depending on the number of people in your group. Ideally, it'd be played as written if there was only 1 tuba, and you'd have a split part if there were 2+. What really matters is how much fun you have playing it.
