Pretty Lights - Red Rocks 2010 - BEST OF - Final Set...

PL's insane Final Set @ Red Rocks 2010... Perfect weather from beginning to end, then Finally Moving opened up for the final track, and the skies opened up, sending down the rain, & we were all completely soaked in about 2 minutes. It was an absolutely unreal moment, & Derek had this look on his face of a crazed wild sorcerer...

Wow, surprising you don't know that track, as any serious PL fan should definitely know it... Go download all of his albums, and then ask questions about the tracks that you can't find on any of the albums... Anyway, it's called "Up & Down I Go", from Filling Up The City Skies Pt.2.

There hasn't been any mention of 2 sets from PL for this years show, so here is my assumption of set times for this year:

Michal Menert: 6:15 - 7:00

Big K.R.I.T.: 7:15 - 8:00

Gramatik: 8:15 - 9:00

Skream: 9:15 - 10:15

& Then PL is just going to play a final MASSIVE set for as long as he can, so prob a 2 1/2 hour set from him... That's my best guess.

@DubbleRibb: If my memory serves me correctly, these were the exact set times from this show:

Emancipator: 6:15 - 7:00

Zion I: 7:15 - 8:00

PL Downtempo Set: 8:15 - 9:15

Mimosa: 9:30 - 10:15

PL Final Set: 10:30 - 12/12:30

I'm pretty sure most RR shows end around midnight, but I've heard you can pay extra to play later, I think, I don't know... Either way, I left before he was finished because of the monsoon, but I think it was around 12:30 or so when I left.

Savoy & Paper Diamond were my favorite at Snowball, and the Big Gigantic after-party was super legit, along with the Menert/Paper D after-party. It was cool to experience the first time festival, EXCEPT for the mud-pit!!! Hahaha. Now as far as PL goes it's all about the BIGGEST shows, I'm trying to make Miami in about a week, then I'll try to catch the team at a festival or two, & then prob wrap up the summer with another Red Rocks in august.

@habitat: 100% EXACTLY. Snowball was cool & I had fun, but yeah I described PL's set that night as a really "Cold" set, you know? I mean, ur gonna play Cold Feeling & Looking For Love while 1000's of people are standing around in a frozen ice field?! Haha, I love those tracks but come on, give us something that is gonna warm us up!!! For real though, it was an awesome production, this performance, but it definitely is my least memorable PL performance. How about VEGAS though! Now THAT was a set.

@Folgers: Thx, & No doubt my man, nothing can come close to actually being there. 6th time seeing PL, 1st time Red Rocks, & afterwards I was on the Game Over tip 100%. All I could think was "Alright, well, what now?!?" haha.
