I do believe that Masterpiece is marketed as "Intended For Mature Collectors Only." I've transformed mine about 10 times, had it for a year and he's still in perfect shape. I highly recommend him

For the people who seem to think it's his fault that Megatron broke try looking up other reviews of this toy. Every single transformers reviewer has had the same problem with Megatron snapping in half. Yes the toy does have a faulty waist bit holding him together. I've heard that Takara has had so many complaints about this that they've actually sent out replacements for the part meant to hold him together. I don't know why they only replaced the part and not the figure but that's what I heard.

Aw, I love it! Ones ability to successfully master this figure does not correlate in any way to ones advanced maturity! Of all the MPs this is easily the most disappointing but they had the nearly insurmountable task of making a robot out of a gun and still come close to matching the animation model. I think with that in mind they succeeded, but still, it ranks the lowest IMO. We're all grown men having pissing contests about toy robots, give him a break! Many mighty nerd-cocks here today!

i think this toy...or whatever it is should just either stay in robot mode or gun mode whichever one would choose and maybe be transformed once in a while. but i dont have it and dont really want it. the only two masterpieces i want are optimus and starscream. also, this thing is not easy to replace because right now it is really too much money
