@ndlynn08 ""I believe in Spinoza's God who reveals himself in the orderly harmony of what exists, not in a God who concerns himself with fates and actions of human beings." -Albeirt Einstien
Just look up the stats, there is an inverse relation between belief and education. The more education, the less likely one is to hold superstitious beliefs.
-
@ndlynn08 No, actually albert einstein only talked of a god in a metaphorical sense, like Spinoza's god. Look it up. He actuallly got hate mail from christian pastors.
-
@humanistheart & @whole27 Funny how you can relegate faith in God to a lack of education or superstition, but fail to see how many "educated" people share the same faith and beliefs. Albert Einstein also believed in God. I guess that was due to his overthinking the subject hmmmm?
-
@whole27 More to the point, those with less education and intellect typically believe in gods.

@ndlynn08 what a suprise, a black person who believes in jesus! You don't see that often:) Jesus is a huge part of the black culture, you will rarely find a black person who doesn't believe in jesus. We are a product of our environment/parents. That is why you buy into christianity. It's not because there is any evidence:) U were raised to think u are having religious experiences and that "god" is causing everything that happens in your life. Again, no evidence for any of it, just ur upbringing

@ezelouie wether he intended it or not it doesn't stop the fact that he fully knew that thre majority of mankind whud end up there since he has for-knowledge of everything before it happens (Omniscient)

Silence, enemy of Christ. Your words are lies and your heart holds only poison.
What did I sidestep? Q: Did God create hell for Satan or Man? A: Satan.
What is there to sidestep? The bible says it was. That is the answer. And only because of freewill does there need to be such a place. If God is good (As Jesus said), and there is no darkness in Him (as Paul said), and He is (Love as John said), then creating a place outside of Himself with all those things would be a denial of Himself, this is what Hell is. It is everything that God is NOT. It is what's left outside God.

If you had a bunch of ingredients to make a cake, among those to make poison, & you used all the stuff needed to make the cake; eggs, flour, sugar, etc. What's left? Only stuff to make poison. Man has freewill, like angels do, we chose whom we serve, & since God is all the good stuff, denying Him is choosing everything that is NOT Him; death, hate, pain, fear etc. That is what Hell is. God intended Satan to go there, & man to know God, freewill gives us a choice, because forced love is rape.
