Mario Kart Wii: What Am I Thinking? 5-27-09

We all know how crazy online racing is, especially with how items usually determine the winner. When I race, a lot of things go through my mind. With the use of You Tube's annotations, you'll be able to see what I was thinking as I was racing. For security reasons, because you never know what might happen out there, I have hidden my true identity by racing as "Rich Petty," after Richard Petty, the 7-time champion of NASCAR. Perhaps you've seen me before.

Welcome back to GBA Bowser Castle 3, the most frequently visited track on this show; this race is the seventh time here, even more times than at the popular Coconut Mall. Even though it's been a while since I last recorded a race here, several races have been run and therefore I am still sick and tired of it. Take a glance at the player list for this race and the name that should stick out to you, besides me of course, is the infamous AIM:Voth24 (Voth24)! Only this time, he's no longer "infamous." Why, you ask? There's something calm about him this time. He's not loaded with stars and Dry Bowser isn't autographing Luigi's neck with his teeth. Do you still need a hint? I think you get the idea. This race was not planned; it was just a spur of the moment and I happened to have my DVD recorder ready. Jordan (JordyOhYea) and his sister, Amber also joined this worldwide group, which only had one player not from the U.S., Urresti of Spain. For a while, it was just him, Voth24 and I. Then it grew to seven players just in time for this race.

This is the most popular track in your series? It seems to me that's only possible if you count each of your Tournament runs.

Right now, I have seven GBA Bowser Castle 3 races, five Coconut Mall races and five N64 Mario Raceway races. So even if I were to exclude my tournament episode from this track, it would still have the most races run on it in my show.

Rich Petty, did you know you can save a mushroom in first to dodge blue shells with? If you use it just as it begins to dive at you, you can evade the blue shell. I just couldn't help but notice that you never save mushrooms in first. Maybe it could help your bad luck a bit.

The problem with that is lightning or POW blocks usually come up before I even get to the lead and I end up wasting a mushroom.

For those of you who think this was a fake Voth, you're wrong. Jughead and I have been on each other's Friend Rosters for some time now. I distinctly remember this race.

Jughead and I raced multiple times that day. I hacked in some of them but not all of them. I'm pretty sure I limited myself to a single blue shell in this one, and then I received a legit blue shell directly afterward.

That was a violent Voth, for a non-hacker. But this time he seemed calm... I think he's going to try to Hack Attack you guys BADLY.... Also have you ever seen the hacker called: HacksAreUs? Or something like that? How about Hacksuck? I went against them at this track. At the jumps I went down into the lava.....

1:25 I really hate that combo: Lightning + Spiny Shell! Almost every time I have a mushroom or three (or a Golden Mushroom), and I'm ready to dodge up to 3 Spiny Shells, someone from dead last prevents me from doing so with a freakin' Lightning (or a POW Block), and someone else throws a freakin' Spiny Shell! That's sometimes called an Instant Loss strategy to me if everyone's right behind me.
