when i go to the gmod folder its not a avi file just a paper with a half life symbol

at windows 7 when i record with CamStudio or Screenshot with PrtSc, it only take the desktop but not the game

@rainbowcatable right click on the gmod in steam libiary and after that click propitis , then it comes up a window - click advanced and type -console

maybe you should ask how to do it before freaking out because you cant

@rainbowcatable maybe your keyboard is messed up or has that key assigned to something else. if all else fails reinstall it or maybe just a shutdown will help...
