@18andreab my westie has floppy ears too. Hers are like that because she used to scratch them a lot because of ear infections due to allergies. (We hadn't realised @ the time.) She's now 11months.

Why hasn't this westie's ears gone up? They're floppy! Not that makes her/him any less lovable of course! Westies are supposed to have pointy ears.

@6905632418 good point on the harness. i'm an aspiring westie owner (never owned a dog before) and i'll definitely keep this in mind. any other tips?

it never ceases to amaze me how people risk the very thing that they love!
I didnt see the dog in a harness, for restraint ...if the dog jumped would it be suspended by the neck, strangling?why risk such a beloved pet / dont cycle main roads ....go to where it's safer + quiet...the dog needs exercise ...walk it/ I see it is accustomed to trains ...but ...if it were mine , I wouldn't do it
