While I was watching the eclipse I was reminded of this beautiful video and this extraordinary man, even after hundreds or years of civilization the mundane movement of the celestial bodies continue to amaze us and to make us wonder about our place in the universe. The true nature of our universe is by far more extraordinary and interesting that any reassuring fable us humans could come up with.

Galileo said: "All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered; the point is to discover them." We need to start working together to discover the truths of life that we all have in common. This is how we can unite and focus on our essential similarities instead of our dividing differences. All the suffering, all the hatred, all the nations conflicts are stemmed from scarcity, self-interest and ignorance.
