This is a solo I did my junior year of high school, written by Mitch Markovich. Because I did it in front of a large, live audience, I left out a few of the repeated parts of the solo.

Hey everybody, I want to let you all know I appreciate the feedback on the solo. I did this almost 2 years ago, and its nice to hear some people still like it. I would like to make one thing clear though: I cut out some of the long or repetitive parts of the solo on purpose. This was a live performance in front of a large audience, not a judge, so I simply made it shorter for showmanship's sake, and so I would not bore the non-drummers out there. Thanks again.

I must say, I've recently been trying to improve my single drum chops to fill out my technique on set, and even though some people talk as if they can play it better, I was still blown away. Well done man.

This is the solo I'm learning for my sophmore year, so if I ever get it up to 130, I'll try to post it here.

that explains A LOT. i was watching it and was thinking wait what the hell? but i must say section F is probably the hardest part of the whole solo. i havent seen ANYBODY get it up to the 130 bpm except for Jay. that kid is incredible. you nailed it though.
