A Hero Of War- Oakmont Dance Company Dress Rehersal!!!!

My name is Kevin McKnnon and I coreographed this dance for oakmont high school. The theme of the competition they were in was "colors" we had black. War is black and so is death. This dance has nothing to do with my political views. I support the army and everything they do for our freedom and lives. Please comment and tell me what you think!

no they dont have much dance training other than school...only a few go to an actual studio, and i am sorry i am not a proff. choreo. but i was 17 when I choreo. this and I haven't danced in like 4 years...but i guess thanks for the critic.

i wont be back in the states til august...but if you just auditioned like 3 months ago for the spring semester class I was one of the ceoreographers for that...i was the only guy ceoreographer...ha

im in indermediate dance at ohs rite now and i just thought this dance is amazing! i love all the stunts in the back and the turns! one of the best dances ive seen in a while:)

I really loved your choreography and it has inspired me to want to choreograph to this song! I grew up near Oakmont and actually competed against them in previous competitions, so good luck to all the dancers out there, and WORK IT!!

I think that this dance is beautiful. Though being an Oakmont Alumni dancer myself and a soldier now kinda makes me biased. ;) I absolutely loved the coreography and song choice and my only wish was that it could've been done a year earlier, when I was there to be in it. Thanks for posting this. You just made my day. If you could direct me to where I can get a copy of the show dvd, since you said it was a show piece, that would be very much appreciated! Thanks again!

This was pretty good. Maybe next time, not have so many things going on at once, because it gets distracting. But I loved the choreography and this song is great!! Also, pointe your toes people!! :)
