  • what is the purpose of expertvillage? its a school of idiots trying to explain something without content

  • Wow...was THAT a poor video!

  • "expert village" has many village idiots

  • shouldn't that flange be level or a little bit above the FF?

  • i agree...get the grouting done or else if you change the toilet later the footprint could be a different, and its just a lazy

    .

nut roly 76....every plmber i know puts the wax ring on the flange then seats the bowl

  • Man, you totally helped me out! My Grandma's wax ring needed replacing and i dont know a thing about fixing anything! Because of ur video i was able to make my grandmother and myself very proud! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! UR AWESOME!

  • you can do it either way, doesn't really matter so long as you get a good seal, and there's a chance for error doing it both ways...if you still don't have any leaks (which you usually notice immediately) then you're fine, good work!

  • I hope you get a response as I am going to need to do this this week.

  • I noticed that you placed the wax ring on the flange first instead of pressing over the horn of the bowl. Your method is inconsistent with the instructions on at least two packaging of two different wax ring manufacturers. I installed a new toilet yesterday by following your instructions, observed no leaks but there is some doubt in my mind if my seal with weather the test of time. What are your thoughts?
