does anybody know the lyrics to leadbellys version of this song the last two verses i can't seem to find the words to sound li sat on the mantle and i am glad, missed the trouble i surely had. very last verse is a little static ridden. can anyone tell what the lycs are.thanks

I sincerely wish I could have been there when Pete sang this song in his younger days . . . I listen to his c.d.'s and saw him live in 2004. I don't know about you, but I could picture a heavenly picnic with this song in the background or a demonstration against anything unjust or even the devil himself with believers uniting in chorus to this song . . . good times, moving and simple, genuine and real American folk-gospel roots. -Another German Seeger, no known direct relation
