Theres been ONE known death at a LARP that I know of. That time there was a insane man who had multiple personalities who went on a LARP. He beheaded a man. He returned to the main village with a real human head and a knife. After that incident ignorant shit like this spread like a fire. Theres even been a guy in Sweden rambling about LARP being a satanic and a nazi cult. Couldent get further from the truth.

The film makers are more out of touch than the supposed subjects of this film.
It's like any other hobby, and far more constructive than some. Just don't look at it like an ignorant twat when you first see it and you might come to understand it. That goes for anything.

To say that larping is a waste of time, effort and money is just ignorant. Sure its different, and yes its nerdy, but its no different to "wasting" time and money on a sport like basketball or football. Since I play soccer, basketball, football (aussie rules) and do larping and SCA (medieval fighting) I have to say don't listen to your mother on this one.
