  • Thank you for posting this helpful video and I am sorry my previous comment is a bit wordy. Anyways, I was wondering how to extract different numbers of characters in Vlookup using the left, mid and right functions when I want to extract different numbers of characters? So if you have posted a video where you explain how to extract different numbers of characters at once using vlookup, hlookup and then inserting left , right and mid functions, please provide the link. Thank you.

  • I do not think I have one for that. Try posting your question to THE best Excel question site:

  • Wow, this was really helpful, thanks a ton. However, I was wondering how to extract different numbers of characters in Vlookup using the left, mid and right functions? In this one you are extracting only 5 characters but I believe you might have posted a video where you explain how to extract in Vlookup and Hlookup specisic numbers of characters using left, mid and right? If yes please let me know their trick numbers. Thank you.
