I like the song , but they have not paid there dues like the other METAL bands. This is the Grammy's screwing Metal Bands again , and giving the Grammy to the not so Metal band , like they did in the 90's when Jethro Tull won over Metallica.

In my opinion, they HAVE paid *their dues. They've been playing music since grade school. Formed the band when they were 10 & 13 (now 25 & 28). Released their first EP (using their own money) in 1999. Released another EP in 2005, and have been touring ever since. Their debut CD came out in 2009 and they have been touring practically non-stop averaging 250+ shows per year. DUES = PAID. (By the way, the category is Hard Rock/Metal Performance. The Grammy's combined the 2. Halestorm won.)

I think it's stupid that they don't feature this category during the actual show... they deserve it way more than any of the pop performances (cough cough Rihanna)

They should have Rock/Hard Rock as one category and Metal/Heavy Metal as another instead of combining them-because they are different in there own ways...

The issue isn't that halestorm won, their a great band. Its rather the way all the major award shows handle rock/metal in general as compared to that garbage they gladly kneel before. Yes its my opinion but ask yourself this, major autotune & digitized instruments or actual instruments and actual vocals with minor to no autotune.
