  • I dont think people understand....that aquarium is fine. Yes koi can reach up to 4ft, but thats if they are in a big enough area. This aquarium will keep them small so they dont get too big. People think fish grow and grow, but how they grow depends on the size of the aquarium....

  • @Madeline8D THANK YOU !!! finally someone understands

  • Ok, dear sir or ma'am, maybe so but your koi are too big, you really need to move them to a nother setup.

  • is right that the fish can't grow in smalls tanks , but the problem is that the can have health issues due to the stop growing , and dies soon ... kois are POND fish , they needs 200 gallons each

  • It will stunt their growth and their insides will grow while the outside does not. Thekoiexpert knows nothing

  • @Madeline8D The reason fish don't grow bigger in a small tank is because they die first.

  • @Madeline8D Does that go with any fish??

  • @ViridiosExotics well said!

  • @UserUnknown77 uh how about you get your facts straight. fish that are stunted do die a slow and painful death, since their organs keep growing and become crushed.

  • @UserUnknown77 fish DONT grow to the size of their tank. they become stunted and die a slow and painful death. some people will keep a goldfish in a 2 gallon tank and when it dies after a year, maybe 2, they think thats good. no its not. that fish lived a miserable life and died a slow and painful death.

KOI DO NOT BELONG IN TANKS, not unless its 1000 gallons

  • @Madeline8D they can still grow big enough to be very cramped.

  • @Madeline8D I don't think you understand. Fish only grow to the size of the tank because it stunts their natural growth process. It's not healthy, and certainly not worth trying to defend.
