Squirrel feeder fail

I put up a new squirrel feeder and it only took the squirrels a few days to figure out that there was food in there. He didn't figure out quite the right way to use it though. It has a flip top so they just nudge it with their nose to lift up the top and get the nuts. But nope, this guy figured out how to lift up the little plastic window and reach in to get the nuts. He almost falls off every time! Not long after that a different squirrel came along and figured out the flip top, then he proceeded to take each and every nut that was left and hide it in my lawn. Time for a refill!

That's cute that he is actually eating them. Ours would hide & forget about them. Now I think you need to create a squirrel agility course. lol
