  • we can use semantics here; ground coffee is coffee you grind to a powder. The idea is for the coffee you grounded to dissolve in water, isn't it? :)

  • @mcsepereira Not exactly dissolve, no. It's more like steeping tea. You're getting some of the contents out of the tea leaves, but the leaves are still intact when you pull them out of the water. It's the same with ground coffee, which is what is inside the Nespresso capsules. When you said powder, I was thinking you meant something along the lines of intant coffee, which is previously-brewed coffee (from ground coffee), dehydrated, then rehydrated by the end user. :)

  • @4thpage OK, now I get it :) I understand your initial comment and what ground coffee is :) I am not an expert on coffee nor tea, I just like it and made this video after an heated discussing on what's inside a nespresso capsule :) thx very much for your explanation

  • what is "powered coffee"?

  • @UltiMogr coffee in powder format

  • so you have opened a "used" capsule to say this?!?!?! take a look inside an "UNUSED" capsule

  • @MsKimbennett ??? I am confused... the aim here was to show an USED capsule, if you make a video with a UNUSED capsule, I will have a look

  • I guess it was just a language/translation problem. "Powered Coffee" (really powder) instead of "Ground Coffee", because Coffee powder is more like soluble coffee...

  • This is funny. You should have a coffee lesson to better understand coffee beans, the varieties and process to making the coffee rather than assuming that these are "just" grounds. Coffee is not just coffee...lol..

  • I would think powdered coffee would dissolve. It looks like you found espresso grinds inside the capsule.

  • well... what did you expect?! O_o

  • 0:57 Ooo, chocolate mud cupcake! ^_^

  • Any real coffee drinker knows that Espresso grinds are a lot finer than coffee grinds. Not to mention the beans themselves are a lot smaller than coffee means, and a lot less oily.

  • Coffee in a coffee machine? Surely you jest.

  • And what you expected? an alien or what ?

  • A be alura a le la mare dal cafè
