thats not finished dog he would not stop on the one pip then he could not send him back to where the bird was. you should stand still so you dont flush more birds. what if the bird landed on the other side of a river would you walk over?? your dog should be used to hand signals.

The ability to crash through punishing cover puts the springer spaniel high in favor for upland hunting.I personally think the springers are better bet than the cockers...
