The Crusell Quartet performs the 3rd and 4th movements (Canzonetta and Finaletto,) of Hungarian composer Rezsó Kókai's Quartettino for Clarinet , Violin , Viola and 'Cello.
Live at Christ Church Cathedral, St Louis, MO, USA. November 16, 2008.
The Crusell Quartet consists of:
Elsie Parker - Clarinet, Alison Rolf - Violin, Tova Braitberg - Viola, Natasha Rubinstein - 'Cello.

  • I would have placed the blumlein pair further away from the musicians, not in the middle of the ensemble. Because the stereo image is not accurate now - clarinet seems to be on the right, and bass - on the left.

  • wonderful recording although I would have placed the mics a bit further to get more of sound of the church
