@ROBINSONREX1But when a group of MAlays fanatics insult non_MUslims no action is taken. It is this sort of double standards that practices which non_Malays hate UMNO. UMNO leaders are angry that non-Malays don join the armed forces, are not patriotic, do not assimilate etc. Why should we assimilate into a culturre tht does not respect us? Why should we die for a country which does not even respect our sensitivities? How the hell can somebody be patriotic towards this kind of a country?

He says that the protesters were only expressing their right to "speak, assembly". Then why did the governemtn come down hard on Indians and Chinese who were expressing their own views. In 1989, a group of Chinese educationists were expressing their dissatisfaction towards the Malaysian Education system. What happened? many of them were arrested under the ISA through OPs Lalang. Then came HINDRAF. They held a demonstration and the govt sent the FRU after them and arrested their leaders.
