Awesome place and the journey was the most exciting, especially from Mangam - Lachen - Gurudongmar stretch. Been there during Oct, 2010 and it was a memorable trip. Thanks for uploading this video, and I just loved the soundtrack added to it.

awesome video :) i am planning to go there with my wife on dec 25th - any words of advice?

@besprasad at the end of October temp was -5 degree. So at December it is expected to be far lower. We are expected to get ice all around, and the lake will be frozen. But the journey is not as smooth as the background music of this video. You must take some anti-vomiting tablets. The oxygen label and air pressure are also quite low. So do not waste energy by running or jumping around the lake; in that case you may find yourself lightheaded. thats all.... have a nice trip.
