Yakima High Roller bike rack (8002091) review video & demo by ORS Racks Direct. Demonstration movie of the Yakima HighRoller upright mount bicycle carrier showing premium features including its sleek styling and lightning-quick bike loading characteristics. The Yakima High Roller fits all bicycle sizes and shapes with wheels ranging in size from 20" kids and bmx bikes to road bikes and even today's 29er 29" mountain bike wheels. Upright mounting design allows both wheels to stay on. Easy to reach knob controls retention, adjustment and release. Yakima HighRoller bike rack mounts to Yakima round bars and Thule square bars directly, and it attaches to any other roof rack crossbar style including factory racks using a set of Yakima MightyMounts adapters. Optionally lock bicycle inside the carrier using a Yakima SKS lock core.

  • What if the front wheel has a quick release clamp/skewer? Wouldn't the bike frame fly off if the clamp is loose? Just a scary thought...

Can I drive on the freeway and bumpy/rocky/hilly road with assurance the bike won't fall off or something? I probably will get this model.

One more question...is it possible to hold THREE bikes on the rack?

    Many thanks

  • The Yakima HighRoller is very safe and you can put your worries to rest about any possibility of the bike or frame flying off the rooftop when cruising down the highway or any off the main drag bumpy roads or dirt roads. The front wheel holders stabilize and steady the front wheel so the skewer would never come loose. The rear wheel strap and locking cable also ensure the bike would never leave the vehicle. Just alternate front to back to get 3 racks on your crossbars. HighRoller rules!

  • Make a video putting a road bike on please! I have a hybrid and it makes me nervous putting it on there cuz it doesn't sit in the front wheel tray, it slips forward when I tighten it. I don't know if this is normal.
