@bookguitarguy I agree with you, this album was inspired by true events, the riots between the mods n the rockers back in the 60s, it delves deeper into emotions, drug addiction, the separation of the classes, the rifts between parents and children, very deep! and thats not even counting the musical brilliance! definitely the best concept album ever made, those who put it down or discredit it have never heard it from start to finish or arent intelligent enough to appreciate its beauty and scope.
@rockandrollmcdonalds Have to disagree. Personally, I think Quadrophenia says more than Tommy (about society/personal emotional conflicts etc ). And Who's Next was definitely a classic, but this album is so RAW and real, it cuts right to the bone!! Of course there's no right or wrong when it comes to taste, just my opinion. Cheers.
this album was damn good, but it wasnt nearly as good as whos next or tommy...i still recomend it if u like the who....The WHo is the best band of all time

@bookguitarguy Yeah, honestly I think Quad is their best work bar none. Wo's Next and Tommy are still brilliant albums though.
