Nothing is fair. Yes the whole U.S. deserves to suffer because the people elected shitty people and let things like this happen. :~)

Does the whole of the U.S deserve to suffer because some bank managers made bad decisions about lending? Should everyone else in the world sit back and blame the U.S people because their 'society' can't provide for itself and has to get billion-dollar payouts? Because, oh, people get what they deserve, therefore we shouldn't help anyone. You don't have to help anyone your whole life if you don't want to. But I'm not sure why exactly you are opposed to people helping each other.

That is the lamest excuse that I have ever heard. When a baby is born into a society it is hardly their fault what society they are born into. If some people in your society make some bad decisions it is hardly 'fair' for you to suffer because of it, but that's what happens.

I think it's a really positive thing that there is awareness being raised about the situation in Uganda. It's not about handing out bags of food to people or throwing money at them and saying 'ok, I've done my bit'. Ben is not there to represent the US or to provide food, he's there to raise awareness and raise donations so that organisations like Save the Children can continue running rehabilitation and educational programmes and these children have better opportunities and hope for the future.

i'm saying that, there are some individuals who like saving other countries too, when the US doesn't reakky bother helping those children. why would he help US kids where the US govt. can take care of them US children?

he gave them his sunglass...yet some of them were malnourished why not give them a bag of groceries instead of taking pictures giving them a pair of sunglasses, if i went to africa to visit some poor people i would bring food and lots of it

dude US have lots and lots of budget, than africa. would you mind comparing US to Africa first? it's like saying "dude look! that chick is fine" when your friend is behind you slipped, and struggling to get back up on a cliff. and you dudes went to that chick when some other guys went to that chick too.
