Forthcoming single from SSSC, a revamped edition of Promenade, with the added epic second solo [2:22]

Thanks to Tom and Boots for listening to the fans and making an additional version of this sic track

Be sure to check out Tom's introduction to the remix:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91OGIshGd1Q

Lyrics was transcripted from the album sleeve, and the karaoke effect was painstakingly created manually using Pinnacle Studio 10 Plus

(This is the latest version of the video, correcting some spelling errors - actually I deleted the first upload)

Note that in addition to adding the 2nd solo, they removed the drum intro, added a whispering vocal track going into the chorus (except on the first verse). On a side note, this must be the first radio edit that is actually longer than the original version!

  • This is the shit, just heard about Boots Riley on thursday when i had to do a marxist review on his song Ride the fence.

When did this band come out ?

  • They started out a year ago, first album was released june 16th 2009. They did a couple of shows as The Nightwatchman and Boots before officially joining forces

  • Whats an o-z?

  • prolly related to oz - an ounce of drug, usually weed.

Someone earlier thought it might relate to farmers growing weed rather the corn to feed the people. The line "ain't shit cooking on the stove but crack", backs this up

  • its an amazin tune ryt here but what i dont get is on the radio version u get da sick solo but when u buy the album its been cut off..

  • @TheExterminater007 it's soon to be released as a single. they produced the radio version after releasing the album

  • Respond to this if you agree>> This is clearly a revolutionary step in music, I often hear adults complaining about music today and how its not "real music"..well this is a genious idea from street sweeper, combining what the youth know today with the classic late 70s early 80s rock sound will definetly create a new sound in the industry, I LOVE it. Its give you that rebellious "obnoxious" feeling when you listen to it..you could definetly party to this, even fashion from that era is coming back

  • What's an O-Z?

Sorry if ain't down wid da kidz so to speak.

  • @stryni all so "grab on to that beat and grind"

  • @RATM101101 finna = slang in the south , it's actually fittin' to spoken it's "fittin' ta die tonight"

  • "Ain't 'bout the plans Osama made"

Thumbs up if you are still listening to this after Osama is dead xD

Morello is one of the greatest guitarists of all time, <3 Audioslave, <3 RatM, <3 <3 <3 SSSC

  • @interlake1234567 I agree. Only it's me who calls the music fake not my parents. They use nothing but computers and editing because people can't sing two things at the same time or auto tune their voice with out it. Tom Morello can produce any sound effect they use ten times better on the guitar.

  • Listening to this makes me want to wave an AK-47 around in the air

  • 0:52 why dose it say "finna die tonight"

  • @stryni

ehh... wrong. SSSC is formed in 2006 and Boots Riley formed the band with Tom Morello, so he was there from the start.

Their first album is from 2009 though.
