I'm encouraged to see a T1 going into diabetes medicine. You know all the annoying things we put up with. In the early years of recording a drummer walks in, the recording engineer says, "get rid of this, get rid of that." The musician says, "do what you want with the mics, I'll play the way I play. You don't do this at live performances, so figure it out." We need to say to the manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies, "figure out how to make this work for us, not just your bottom line."

Bravo, Shara! It's great to hear a clever diabetes product idea from a fellow T1! I agree with you 100% on the retractable tubing idea, or something similar that gives tubing flexibility. Being able to move the infusion site and tubing around is KEY, since we only have so much usable skin. Until pumps get a LOT smaller and thinner, tubing is the nemesis we all deal with. I hope your idea sparks more bright thinking among diabetes product developers everywhere!!
