art journal - mixed media and collage

i did some 'minor' spring cleaning in my art room, and found lots of leftovers torn papers...and there's this container that i found with a cut out "art" word in it (so funny) dunno what was i thinking of!! so i decided to use it for my journal entry.

What kind of glue is it that you are using?

When I use Mod Podge for my collaging, the paper curls - even when I use card stock weight for the base layer. Suggestions? Your work is gorgeous. Just subscribed. Thank you!

@paigan9 Thank you for watching my vids. the pieces are tissue papers that i stenciled on with spray mist. if you're not sure what it is you can watch my 'how i did my stencilling' video and you'll get the idea. you can use decoupage tissue papers too. My suggestions are watch as many art journaling videos in YT from many different artists, and you'll be surprised at the many,many ways and techniques you can learn. Remember,are no rules to art journaling. Happy creating!! July:)

I love this! If you don't mind my asking, what were the pieces that looked like tissue paper? Did you use decoupage tissue paper? I'm just getting started using those in my art journal. Any tips or suggestions? Again, your page is gorgeous!
