The very first B/W photo in this video, (pause the video at 16 seconds to see it fully) was from 1976, at the Westbury Music Fair on Long Island. The backup singers were called THE ESTABLISHMENT....and, I am the guy on the FAR Right...

That summer tour, was one of the best summers I ever had....and Mr Perry C was the personification of a gentleman...it was an amazing experience...

This is actually a cover of Don McClean's song - he's the one who wrote it and released it in 1970. Perry Como didn't sing it until 1973, but I think Perry made it more popular!
