I really think this revolver technique is trying to fix something that ain't broke. The "FBI" more traditional method is fine. Anyone that dropped the gun during a reloading as Mass indicated is probably a wimp that gets hurt brushing his teeth in the morning.

@ColtDeltaElite10mm Which is exactly why we posted a "Series" of videos showing the different reloading techniques, some techniques work better for individuals. It really doesn't matter which one you use as long as you have one that works for you and practice it until it is locked in.

I've found the right thumb supporting the barrel tends to prevent cases closest to the frame from ejecting. The thumb knuckle curves under the cylinder and I'm always left pushing a 5 round speedloader (J-frame) into a 4 round cylinder!

@Bv791510 A master? You know a revolver is about as effective as a British long bow and there are instructors for that as well. If you like training in obsolete arts that's cool just say so...But you wouldn't bring a bow to a gun fight and you wouldn't bring a revolver into battle period...Or maybe you would? As far as concealment pick any glock.

@John234pwns Disagree..Revolvers are simply obsolete. They are still dangerous as long as your targets are not armed and you ambush them...So would a bolt action battle rifle. I am not into wasting time training with something that has no use. Some people really like to train with swords that's cool I guess?

@Fullrubberman Revolvers are often easier to conceal, do not need to rotate magazine springs, and can't be knocked out of battery. There are reason to use them, hence Massad Ayoob teaches how to use them.
