  • Gail, does Mas prefer the comp speedloader or an HK or similar "twist and release" type speedloader?

  • @mxhdroom He uses both the HKS for carry and the comp3 for competition

  • I really think this revolver technique is trying to fix something that ain't broke. The "FBI" more traditional method is fine. Anyone that dropped the gun during a reloading as Mass indicated is probably a wimp that gets hurt brushing his teeth in the morning.

  • @ColtDeltaElite10mm Which is exactly why we posted a "Series" of videos showing the different reloading techniques, some techniques work better for individuals. It really doesn't matter which one you use as long as you have one that works for you and practice it until it is locked in.

  • @ikonik69 Was that supposed to be cute? it wasn't.

  • Massad's voice is awesome, it's like half john wayne and half Jimmy Stewart. Also, I wouldn't fuck with him if he had a .38 and I had a repeating rocket launcher like the one in Quake.

  • Fullrubberman, you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Go spout your bullshit opinions elsewear.

  • @Fullrubberman Do you know of an automatic pistol that will function flawlessly in a contact-firing situation? Or one with a grip as slim as a revolver for concealed carry?

  • I've found the right thumb supporting the barrel tends to prevent cases closest to the frame from ejecting. The thumb knuckle curves under the cylinder and I'm always left pushing a 5 round speedloader (J-frame) into a 4 round cylinder!

  • @Bv791510 A master? You know a revolver is about as effective as a British long bow and there are instructors for that as well. If you like training in obsolete arts that's cool just say so...But you wouldn't bring a bow to a gun fight and you wouldn't bring a revolver into battle period...Or maybe you would? As far as concealment pick any glock.

  • @John234pwns Disagree..Revolvers are simply obsolete. They are still dangerous as long as your targets are not armed and you ambush them...So would a bolt action battle rifle. I am not into wasting time training with something that has no use. Some people really like to train with swords that's cool I guess?

  • @Fullrubberman Revolvers are often easier to conceal, do not need to rotate magazine springs, and can't be knocked out of battery. There are reason to use them, hence Massad Ayoob teaches how to use them.

  • Fullrubberboy. The dsa is a tactical pistol that is more like the size of a submachine gun. Not concealable... Not valid for what's being taught. Desperate reach for a fool unable to admit he is wrong. Let people learn from a proven master like massad and leave your ghetto reasoning in the 14 year olds' chat room

  • Much respect to a master.

  • Massad Ayoob is a firearm genius he is to firearms like Thomas Jefferson is to the constitution
