There are only 8 notes in an octave , in the history of music / songwriting there have always been songs and sounds that seem similar. I have not heard a peep from Elvis regarding a possible rip off of his song, If he ain't bothered why is deerfried. After over 30 years of amazing creativity calling Bono an imposters smacks of sour grapes to me. He was good enough for Frank,good enough for Luciano,he is good enough for Willie,for BB for a host of other musicians, he's good enough for me.

Don't get me wrong...I'm not bothered by "Boots" sounding like "Pump." I actually think it's kinda cute. Others seem to have their bowels in an uproar, though.
