Founded in 2007 in Belgium, Europe by Mario Poncin who as a singer/songwriter performed acoustic solo shows called: Room13 A singer songwriters journey!
It was during one of these shows that he met drummer Jan Van Grunderbeek and soon after they started jamming together. Jan had a punk rock background and performed all over Belgium and Holland with his band "Old Fashion Heroes"
One of the many things they had in common was their love for Guns &Roses!
Down and dirty guitar rock!
So they started looking for these white ravens and organized auditions for a second guitarist and bass player
After several dissapointing ones fate just happened!
Wim Roelants, a longtime friend and jam buddy of Mario was back in town and the chemistry was instant.
Having played with musicians from bands like Whitesnake, The Cult or the David Lee Roth band he brought that extra guitar cherry Room13 needed.
Mid 2009 finally bassist Gerry Verstreken joined the band and the quest was over. Having played with several musicians such as Dizzy Reed (Guns&Roses) and having played all over Europe and the US he was the perfect match to deliver that deep bass sound that Room13 was looking for.
